Cherry Balsamic Salsa
Cherry salsa makes a sweet condiment thats is great with salmon, chicken or pork.
- Szechuan Pepper Salt for ‘the Passionate Foodie’
- Candied Balsamic for 'the Passionate Foodie'
- 2 cups of cherries
- 1/4 of a red onion
- 1/4 cup basil leaves
Remove the pits and roughly chop the cherries, finely dice the red onion, finely slice the basil and toss all ingredients into a bowl.
Season with 1/2 teaspn of Szechuan Pepper Salt.
Drizzle 4 tablespns of Candied Balsamic over the mixture, refrigerate for an hour and serve.
Alternative Serving Suggestions:
- Finely slice and add chilli for a spicy salsa.
